Sarawak Contingent to 11th National Jamboree
With the 11th National Jamboree around the corner all state delegates are getting prepared and excited about the said event. To strongly support this natinal event, the state contingent is sending 306 scouts/rovers/leaders to the jamboree. The contingent is led by Haji Abdul Rahman Muhiyuddin (Regional Commissioner, Sri Aman) and assisted by Mr. Inggai Achot (Regional Commissioner, Sarikei), Mr. Ngatiman (District Commissioner, Matang) and Ms. Fauziah Pata (Girl Scout Affair of the contingent) as well as fellow Scout Leaders and Rovers. The breakdown of the contingent is as shown below;
Kuching City / Padawan / Petra Jaya / Matang : 142 delegates
Sibu: 59 delegates
Bintulu: 84 delegates
Sri Aman: 7 delegates
Baram: 7 delegates
Miri: 7 delegates
The contingent is going to leave on 2 batches which shall be on 10/12/2006 and 11/12/2006. With the effort from the Deputy Chief State Commissioner, Haji Said B. Haji Bolhassan (or better known as Pak Said), a State contingent badge is also manufactured and shall be distributed to all delegates.
The Rover Council would like to wish all state delegates "Bon Voyage" and a memorable trip.
