Venue?
Newington Armoury Site in the Sydney Olympic Park precint. This former Australian Navy site is an area of bushland north of Nowington Estate which serves as the athelete’s village during the 2000 Sydney’s Olympic. The site is close to a wharf and the Prramatta River.

International (Malaysian Rovers below 25 years old) - AUD$700

Rover scouts (18 to 25 years old)

Singapore Centenary Camporee 2007

Who?

Registered scouts between 13 ~ 18 years old. (Junior & Senior Scouts). Rovers and Leaders are encouraged to participate in IST.

When?

25th ~ 29th May 2007

Theme?

"One World One Promise - Solidarity in Diversity & Peace"

Activities?

Adventure & water activities, Scouting skills & traditional games, an ASEAN cultural experience, Community outreach and learning-by-doing approaches which are related to global issues. The key focus is on Environment & Peace. Part of the highlights includes a special “Scout for Peace Act”. The Centenary Camporee 2007 is also open to all Cub Scouts on the day of the Open House where family members of the Cubs are welcome to join in the celebration. Limited accommodations will be available on a first come first serve basis for those Cubs who would like to camp at the Camporee with their families.st Jamboree-on-the-Move where a multi-national Scout Contingent will enjoy a unique roving Jamboree format in a variety of countries, as part of the theme of Asian “Solidarity in Diversity and practicing Peace in action”. More information on The Jamboree-on-the-Move (JOTM) will be announced separately at a later date.

Fees?

Participants : (To cover all activities, main meals, transportation during camp, washroom facilities and campsite rentals. Participants shall be responsible for their own tentage, personal effects, medical & travel insurance, personal medications and logistics for their social-cultural performance & display)

International participants (Malaysian Scouts / Leaders) - US$ 150
International Service Team (IST) (Malaysian Rovers / Leaders) - US$100

Day Visit : (To cover a packet lunch and drink at Camporee Mess Hall and free participation in all activities within Camporee during Open House Day. The Day Visit tickets can be purchased at following rates.)
Cubs / Brownies / Guides / Child (non-scout) at or < 16 yrs - S$20
Adults / Rovers / Rangers / Guiders / Scout Guild members / Youth (nonscout) > 17 years old - S$50
Go Scouts / Leaders or Scout Guild members > 65 years - S$20
