A BBQ dinner has been organized on 31/7/2007 evening, whereby rovers, leaders and commissioners from surrounding districts and the state have participate in this meaningful event. The event lasted until 12:00a.m. where all participants solumnly renewed their scout promise before calling it a night.
The members of Kuching City Scout Council have visited Dato Kho Kak Beng, the Group Managing Director of KKB Engineering Berhad in his office on 25th July 2007. The council thanked Dato Kho’s for his recent donation to the council. With consent from Dato Kho, the council has requested and confirmed the appointment of Dato Kho as the first Patron for the council in line with his on going support to the scout movement of the Kuching City. Once again, the council would like to express its deepest appreciation to Dato Kho for his generous contributions to the movement.
