The Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Sarawak Branch will be jointly organizing a boat handling course with the Civil Defense Department (Jabatan Pertahanan Awam) on 5^th July 2009 (Sunday) from 9:00a..m. to 5:30p.m. at Waterfront, Kuching.

 

Attire: Casual Wear

Fees: RM5 (to cover meal and drinks)

 

Rovers are invited to participate in the said course whereby you will be taught on the following items;

1, Introduction and safety precautions

2, Proper way to handle boats

3, Wind direction

4, Engine, its parts, horse power and maintenance

5, Current and water flow

6, Simulation - Practical

 

An exam will be conducted at the end of the course and qualified candidates will be awarded a certificate from the said department.
